Seventeen

When you wake up on your seventeenth birthday, you expect to feel seventeen , but you don’t .  You open your eyes and everything’s just like yesterday , only it’s today . And you don’t feel seventeen at all . You feel you’re still sixteen . And you are underneath the year that makes you seventeen .

Like some days you might say something stupid, and that’s the part of you that’s still ten . Or maybe some days you might need to sit on your mother’s lap because you’re scared, and that’s the part of you that’s five . And maybe one day when you’re all grown up , maybe you will need to cry like if you’re three . And that’s okay .

You don’t feel seventeen . Not the right way . It takes a few days, even weeks , sometimes even months before you say you’re seventeen when they ask you . And you don’t feel smart seventeen, not until you’re almost eighteen . 

That’s the way it is .

Today you’re seventeen . There’s a cake Mother’s making for tonight , and when Father comes home from work you will eat it . There will be candles and presents and everybody will sing happy birthday , happy birthday to you .

You’re seventeen today and the world is yours .

Keep calm and live your life .

Kepada anda anda , jangan buang sampah merata dalam dorm lagi .

 Penat aku mengutip .

Mal , jangan nak pro-kerajaan sangat .

Sama geng dengan Cikgu Azibah . Hehe

Kojek , cari balik bekas Tupperware mak aku yang kau hilangkan .

Muka comel . Esan interframe lagi.

Moga Allah hidup anda anda kalian sentiasa si bawah naungan rahmat Allah S.WT .

Moga dipermudahkan urusan dalam hari hari yang mendatang .

Moga memperoleh kejayaan dalam SPM .

Tidak kurang juga kejayaan di akhirat kelak .

Penting woo .

Dan lastly , semoga persahabatan kita akan kekal sehingga Jannah .
